Vandaag Chef Dinner at Art Fest; New Menu at Trophy Bar

LOWER EAST SIDE — As a part of the Festival of Ideas next month, culinary event group Our Other Location and Vandaag chef Phillip Kirschen-Clark are preparing a totally bizarre dinner. Guests will pick up three-tiered stainless steel tins filled with food, as well as camping equipment and portable tables, and set up shop to eat wherever they want, out on the street. CHARITY — City Harvest is doing their annual Skip Lunch Fight Hunger initiative on May 11 this year. CHELSEA — On April 27, a number of chefs and sake makers will converge at La. Venue for an NY Loves Japan fundraiser, with all proceeds going to benefit the Japanese Red Cross.
