1) Lower East Side: EV Grieve has a picture on the inside of the new Veselka on Bowery and East 1st Street. It should be opening around late May or early June. [PLYWOOD]

2) Upper East Side: From the tipline: "The old Le Boeuf a la Mode space at 539 East 81st, off of East End Ave, has a sign in the window saying deliveries should be delivered to what is presumably going in there, something called the Barcomb House. There is paper up on the windows and there appears to be work going on inside." [PLYWOOD]
3) Lower East Side: Hakki Pizza is opening another outpost at 123 Essex, Bowery Boogie reports. They're taking over the old Visco space. There is currently a Famous Hakki Pizza at 170 Rivington Street. [PLYWOOD]

4) Gowanus: Brownstoner nabs pics of a new bar opening in Gowanus on Carroll Street between Bond and Nevins. Called 383 Bar & Grill, it should open in the next month. [PLYWOOD]

5) Midtown West: Midtown Lunch brings word that Baked by Melissa's tiny pricey cupcakes are coming to Times Square. You will be able to get your fix this spring on 7th Avenue between 38th and 39th Streets. [PLYWOOD]

6) Carroll Gardens: In other pastry news, Carroll Gardens Patch reminds us that The Treats Truck Stop is coming to 521 Court Street, hopefully later this summer. The popular truck owner has had plans to open a home base all along. They'll feature the same treats that are in the truck, plus a small menu of soups and sandwiches. [PLYWOOD]

7) Clinton Hill: Abistro is expanding to 250 Dekalb Avenue, Grub Street reports. Cassandra and Abdoul Gueye will open the space later this month, and it will be larger than the Carlton Street location and feature a full bar and extended menu! Click through to Grub Street for the menu. [PLYWOOD]

8) Lower East Side: Plywood is up on 241 Bowery for Mathieu Palombino's Bowery Diner, Bowery Boogie reports. The "mid-century" American diner will focus on breakfast fare. [PLYWOOD]

9) Harlem DNA Info posts on a new IHOP coming to 125th Street and Lexington Avenue. There is another IHOP on 135th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard. Construction hasn't even started but they're shooting to open in the 4th quarter of 2011. Also, this is part of a plan to open 24 other Manhattan IHOPs. Deliciously corporate. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

10) East Village: EV Grieve has alerted us that Fat Sal's signage has gone up on Avenue A at the former location of ApizzA. [POST-PLYWOOD]

11) Lower East Side: Fork in the Road took a walk by the upcoming Goodfellas space at 144 Orchard Street. They learned the restaurant would open in about two weeks. [POST PLYWOOD]

12) Financial District: A transplant from the Financial District of Boston is making it's way to New York's FiDi. Milk Street Cafe will be a large food hall on 40 Wall Street with stations including a panini press, pasta bar, salads, sushi, etc. Their website says that they'll be here late spring. [PLYWOOD]
