Konditori, Alobar, Vinzee's Magic Fountain Coming Soon

1) Columbia Street Waterfront A restaurant called Casa di Campagna will open on the corner of Kane and Columbia Streets. The facade is now covered in wooden planks that come from a dismantled barn in South Carolina. [PLYWOOD]

2) Greenwich Village: New York reports that Amorino, a European franchise founded by Italian partners in Paris, plans on opening its American flagship this summer in the former Recess space on University. [PLYWOOD]
3) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie learns that soon to open LES restaurant Konditori has painted its official signage at 182 Allen Street. [PLYWOOD]

4) Carroll Gardens: New signage is up for Vinzees Magic Fountain. [PLYWOOD]

5) East Village: EV Grieve learns that Fat Sal's is opening in the old APizza space on Avenue A. [PLYWOOD]

6) Brooklyn Heights: Fork in the Road reports that the new Montreal bagel place opening up in Brooklyn Heights will be called B&B Empire. The "grand opening" is scheduled for May, and "customers can 'expect to see' things like pancakes, chopped vegetable salads, French toast, fruit salad, and a flaming oven." [PLYWOOD]

7) Long Island City: Grub Street notes that Alobar, a modern American restaurant, will open in Long Island City in May. The 100-seat space features "stained-glass windows, rough-hewn wood tables, and kicky ochre-colored banquettes." [PLYWOOD]

8) Hell's Kitchen: Life with Food and Drink reports that a restaurant called West End is replacing Ciro. [PLYWOOD]
