New York Restaurant Slogan Fails, the Complete Gallery

  • Brother Jimmy's: After a long brainstorming session, the Brother Jimmy's team landed on this. Not great, but it's a whole lot better than "Put Some Meat on Yo' Feet," "Put Some Cue in Yo' Hairdo," and "Before You Floss, Ea
  • The Burger Garage: After some wear and tear, your appetite sometimes needs a tune up. Always a good idea to consult the Blue Book value before lunch. [link]
  • Ted's Montant Grill: Their original slogan was "Eat Great. Do Whatevs," but it didn't fit under the buffalo. [Link]
  • Gobo: Most restaurants let you smell, taste and look at your food. But at Gobo, you also get to listen to, and feel your meal. If you eat there enough, you also can experience the sixth sense, which is food ghosts. [
  • Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse: The Del Frisco's team got J.R.R. Tolkein to write their slogan for them. [Link]
  • PSBklyn: When April Bloomfield and Ken Friedman took a look at this restaurant and its slogan, they both slapped their foreheads. If only they'd equipped the Spotted Pig with a skeeball
  • Kefi: It's an abbreviated version of the original slogan. The first draft included: "Where the men are strong and the women are fair. Where the table is hard and the napkins are soft. Where the service is slow and the check comes fast."
  • Down the Hatch: It was either this or "we accept NYU Campus Cash." [Link]
  • Graffit: Okay, this isn't a proper slogan, but it is a few short sentences that sum up what the restaurant's all about, on their homepage. And it makes no sense. Maybe the Graffit team should have checked out
  • Ninja: This slogan really doesn't tell the whole story, but "Finest Japanese food served by frightening magicians, in a dimly lit subterranean dungeon in Tribeca." just didn't have a nice ring to it. [
