Extra Place Venue on the Market; David Burke's Airline Deal

THE FRIENDLY SKIES—Chef David Burke is bringing his kooky culinary creations to the skies. Lufthansa announces that the chef known for his whimsical cooking uptown and now in Soho will be providing first and business class meals for travelers flying out of Germany. Sadly, he seems to have reigned it in for these menus, serving meatloaf, ravioli, pastrami and sauerkraut, and king prawn confit. [EaterWire]

CHELSEA—The Craft Beer & Food Festival takes place on March 19 and 20 in the Altman Building in Manhattan. The fest will feature food from Brother Jimmy's, Anfora, Luke's Lobster, Fatty Crab, Cascabel Taqueria, Cafe D'Alsace, and more and they'll be pouring over 100 beers. Get tickets here. [EaterWire]
