Beverage Director Colin Alevras Leaves Momofuku

The Canadian Noodle Bar isn't the only news from within the Momofuku Empire this weekend. Reps bring word that Beverage Director Colin Alevras has left the group. With his departure Stacy Greci has been promoted to Wine Manager of Ma Peche. She served as an understudy to Alevras, and will now be working with Momofuku Restaurant's Wine Director Theresa Paopao on the program.

Alevras came to Momofuku last year from DBGB, where he built the beverage program for Daniel Boulud. Before that, he was the chef and owner with his wife of The Tasting Room, the East Village locavore joint that moved to Nolita and shuttered in 2008. Team Momo notes that the split was totally amicable and that: "He was an integral part of the opening team at Ma Peche. He will be missed."
