Saying Goodbye to 'Swich. Ginger House, Nucca, and More

1) Chelsea: The Chinese restaurant Ginger House on 7th Avenue between 28th and 29th Street has closed. [EaterWire]

2) Chelsea: Owner John Gargiulo writes in to say he's closing the Chelsea location of sandwich shop 'Swich on March 25. He says sales are better than ever but the business just isn't what he wants it to be. They've raised prices by 25 cents an item, and every cent of that will go to the staff to help them transfer into new jobs. The FiDi location of the store is now a Toloache taqueria. [ShutterWire]

3) Upper West Side: Nucca, the successor to Canteen 82 (and a string of places before that dating back to Fujiama Mama) on Columbus between 83rd and 84th is gone. That was pretty quick! Cursed location? [ShutterWire]

4) Midtown East: Midtown Lunch received a tip that Negi Ya (formerly known as Washoku Cafe) may be closed. No one picks up the phone, and the gate and sign are both down. [Midtown Lunch]
