Ramps Spotted at 'inoteca; 43 Minute Lunch at Nuela

MEATPACKING DISTRICT—Italian bistro La Gazzetta at Villa Pacri in the Meatpacking District launched its weekly lunch today. Chef Todd MacDonald's menu includes paninis, crostinis, appetizers like vitello tonnato and grilled octopus and entrees like pasta, steamed mussels, and a Gazzetta burger. [EaterWire]

HOLY LORD RAMPS—From the tipline (per an employee): "This just in, ramps on the menu at Jason and Joe Denton's 'inoteca liquori bar. Featured menu item is a risotto with ramps. The bar is rolling out their spring cocktail list this week, but it is confirmed that their house specialty "the 323" is being reincarnated to include rosemary infused Hendrick's Gin, lemon sour, and muddled pineapple/ ramps." FLATIRON—South American restaurant Nuela has launched a new "In-and-out in 43 minutes for $24" prix fixe lunch menu. They serve it Wednesday through Friday from 11:30 AM - 2 PM, and it includes an appetizer, an entree, and churros. [EaterWire]

EAST VILLAGE—On Wednesday night, a tasting event raising money for the charity Streets will go down at the Astor Center. Morimoto, Anita Lo, Michael Anthony, and Harold Dieterle will be among the chefs, and all money goes to Streets, a non-profit organization that is part hospitality school and part restaurant café that caters to disadvantaged youth in Hoi An, Vietnam.
