Osteria Cotta is now open on Columbus Avenue, between 84th and 85th Streets in the former Senor Swanky's space. This casual Italian osteria and wine bar is brought to you by Sergio and Mario Riva (of Candela, The Diner, Irving Mill and La Follia), AJ Bontempo and Suzanne Riva. The Chef, Andrew Kraft (formerly of Six Street Kitchen) has composed a menu with the owners featuring small plates, salads, bruschettes, pizzas, handmade pastas and several larger entrees. The space opens to a sizable downstairs dining room with a bar with several seats and wine covered walls. On the second floor there is another dining room and in the back, a space that will be opening in about a month called the "Living Room."
