Giant GMT Tavern Opens in Former Senor Swanky's Space

Multiple tipsters write in to report the opening of the very pubby and continental-looking GMT Tavern in the old Senor Swanky's space on the corner of Bleecker and LaGuardia. It appears that the space, which just removed its plywood shed last weekend, opened yesterday, in time for the St. Patrick's Day festivities. Says one pessimistic local, "Great, my hood get another new mediocre bar." But don't worry neighbor! Thrillist says they're serving an "artful selection of international beers & socially man-ceptable 'tails." Plus, food will come in the next couple of weeks.
