In his latest Tipsy Diaries column, Frank Bruni reports that there are three solid new cocktail places in Midtown : the second floor bar at The Lambs Club, Rum House and The Bar Downstairs. To Bruni, these are much better than his previous after-work options: "More than once we’ve ended up at the second-floor bar of Ruby Tuesday, which at least has elbow room and used to serve a multiethnic chicken wing sampler.
