Today the Times runs a lengthy profile on Alex Ott, a mixologist turned corporate cocktail guy who claims, "There is not one person in Hollywood that I haven’t made cocktails for." There's no great hook here, but there are some awesome quotes like, "I can make you feel relaxed. Up. Nervous. I can make you hungry. I can add ingredients that will make you spend money." And "[Customers are] individual biospheres that I could manipulate with my drinks." [NYT]
