Neighbors Turn Out En Mass To Fight Prime 6

New, 6 comments

As promised, Prospect Heights residents flooded a Community Board 6 meeting last night to protest the soon to open restaurant and lounge Prime 6. The bar is hoping to attract the Atlantic Yards arena crowd with its backyard, basement lounge and VIP room, but neighbors are concerned over the traffic and noise that Prime 6 will attract, especially with the backyard staying open until 11 PM and a general 4 AM closing. What else has them all agitated? A neighboring property owner spoke out against the bar's unresponsiveness to her calls, her fear that the bar will make her property worthless, construction related garbage, and the unshoveled sidewalk ice that her dog slipped on. Monsters! All of their complaints are for naught though, because Prime 6 has already secured a liquor license from the SLA.
