Carnegie Deli may already be capitalizing on the recent Knicks trade, but Italian restaurateurs in New York are none too pleased to lose Italian star Danilo Gallinari. David Chang tweeted yesterday, "feel so sad for danilo, great kid humble the great italian hope, torrisi boys torn up...carbone says no fresh mozz today." Meanwhile both the owners of Via Della Pace in the East Village and Uva on the Upper East Side—regular haunts of Gallinari's—are bemoaning his loss in the Times today. [Twitter; NYT]
