2) FiDi: Midtown Lunch reports of mysterious new spot called Earl's Court coming to the corner of John and Gold Streets. Online search engines show very little for this new project. [PLYWOOD]
3) East Village: EV Grieve finds signs for a new pizzeria called Forcella — La Pizza di Napoli coming to the former home of Bowery Tattoo on Bowery between Bond Street and Great Jones Street. [PLYWOOD]
4) Park Slope: A new yogurt company is coming to town. Here's Park Slope reports that Culture: An American Yogurt Company is taking over the old Serene Rose spot at 331 5th Avenue. Culture posted a sign in the window that claims they'll be making fresh yogurt in-house from "specially selected cultures and milk, nothing more" and selling it straight, frozen, and with "handmade toppings." 5) Gowanus: Brownstoner has a hunch that a new bar called Halyard's is coming to the corner of 6th Street and 3rd Avenue. There is an active liquor license application on file for the address there. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
6) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie reports that B4 It Was Cool plans to open an "early-American themed coffee/espresso bar" in the storefront location at 89 East Houston Street (B4 It Was Cool is now in the basement). There is no name yet for this project and they are tentatively shooting for an early spring opening. They will be serving from the Doughnut Plant on Grand Street. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
7) Park Slope: Here's Park Slope learns of a new outpost of South Brooklyn Pizza. There are already two other locations of South Brooklyn Pizza and the newest is expected to open on First Street west of Seventh Avenue in a former foot massage/car rental spot in two to three months. [PLYWOOD]
8) Park Slope: Here's Park Slope has had a very active week reporting on new restaurants coming to the neighborhood. They learned from a tipster that a sign has been posted in the window of 448 Ninth Street for Vietnamese Kitchen. Based on the post and comments, many locals seem to be excited about this project. 9) East Village: EV Grieve learns from workers at the former City Copies on 7th Street just off of 2nd Avenue that a new coffee and ice cream spot is coming in. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
10) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie reports that Stellina, the sister dessert spot of Sorella, will open in about a week and a half at 95 Allen Street. [POST-PLYWOOD]
11) Lower East Side: More yogurt. Bowery Boogie reports that Pop Yogurt is coming in March to Stanton Street. Pop Yogurt will be adjacent to the A. Turen boutique, which opened in December, at 85 Stanton Street. [PLYWOOD]
