2011_best_pizza_sub.jpgSerious Eats discovers a promising new meatball sub on the menu at Best Pizza in Williamsburg. The $8 sandwich uses fresh bread baked at Roberta's in Bushwick, house tomato sauce and balls made with a mix of Pat LaFrieda short rib, a secret spice blend and a touch of ricotta and pecorino Romano. Ed Levine remarks that it "might be the best meatball sandwich I've ever had." [SE]
