Diner's Journal reports that 23-year-old Midtown Mexican restaurant Zarela is closing in two weeks. The owner notes: "The neighborhood has changed, it’s all bars, and there are six Mexican restaurants nearby, most of them fast-food. And the young people would rather go to a taco truck instead of out for a Mexican meal.” The team hopes to find a place for a smaller concept downtown. [DJ]
