Sunday Brunch at Gwynnett St.; Meatball Mondays at Uva

WILLIAMSBURGGwynnett St., the new restaurant from a former wine director at Esca and a WD-50 alum, is launching brunch this Sunday. The menu includes biscuits and gravy, French toast with syrup and lardo, and steak tartare with poached eggs. Brunch will be available from 11 AM - 4 PM on Sunday, and they hope to roll out Saturday service next month. [EaterWire]

TRIBECA — On December 11, Maslow 6 wine store will host a special tasting with Chris Baggetta, the head sommelier at Eleven Madison Park. She'll be teaching the same blind tasting method used at the Court of Master Sommeliers. Tickets are $50. [EaterWire]
