On Saturday night, a big night for an ever-hot restaurant in the middle of the holiday season, the recently revamped Torrisi Italian Specialties was closed for a private event, and a tipster reveals that the event in question was a filming of HBO's hit show Treme. The show is based in New Orleans but has many a New York City and restaurant-focused story line and counts Anthony Bourdain as one of its advisers and writers. Folks at the restaurant can't talk about the shoot, but it looks like they didn't supply food to craft services. Here's hoping Rich or Mario get a cameo.
