According to paperwork with Community Board 3, restaurateur and classic restaurant lover Ken Friedman and his go-to partner in crime chef April Bloomfield are looking to add another restaurant to their empire that now includes The Spotted Pig, The Breslin, and The John Dory Oyster Bar. Bowery Boogie notices they're on the docket for next month's CB3 meeting, applying for a liquor license for the Oliva restaurant space on the corner of Allen and Houston. Oliva, a 10 year-old Spanish tapas spot, went on the market earlier this month but remains open.

Details are scarce at this point, but, per the paperwork they're imagining a restaurant with 48 seats, 24 tables, and a small bar. Friedman tells Eater it's too early to discuss the details about the space, noting that nothing is 100%. Expect more at the meeting on January 9.
