1) Nolita: La Churreria, a traditional Spanish cafe and bakery in Nolita is opening tomorrow. The owner, Jesus ‘Lolo’ Manso, originally from Valladolid, Spain has been bringing New Yorkers Spanish cuisine at La Nacional and Socarrat Paella Bar. La Churreria will serve churros (their specialty) at all hours of the day. The menu will also have various breakfast and lunch items including huevos con chorizo and bocatas. 2) Harlem: UPTOWNflavor brings word that a new coffee shop called Lenox Coffee on 60 West 129th street recently opened. The specialty coffee shop will be serving breakfast items including baked goods and bagels and will soon be adding lunch items. 3) Williamsburg: From their Facebook page, we learn that One Stop Beer Shop just opened their doors to the public. The beer-centric shop will offer customers the opportunity to purchase over 100 types of beer, refill growlers, or stop for a beer cocktail. One budget-minded blogger approves of the goods. 4) East Harlem: The New York Times reports that the owner of Doc Watson's just opened up a barbecue restaurant on East 116th street called Harley's Smokeshack. All the classic BBQ items are on the menu, along with a handful of side dishes. Status: Certified Open; 355 East 116th Street, 212-828-6723
