New Year's at Hecho en Dumbo and Hill Country; Monument Lane Opens for Lunch

NOMAD— Eater Seattle learns that Charles Veitch III, a big deal bartender at a place called Bastille out in Seattle, is moving to New York to tend bar at Will Guidara's upcoming NoMad restaurant. [Eater Seattle]

NOHO— For New Year's Eve, Noho Mexican spot Hecho en Dumbo will be serving a carnitas feast. Groups of six or more can order a suckling pig confit with a trio of house-made chorizos and parties of five or less can get a mixed grill of ribeye, chorizos, and pork tenderloin, plus all kinds of sides and salsas. The $175 fee includes food, open bar, and gratuity. [EaterWire]

FLATIRON—Meanwhile in the Flatiron, Hill Country will be hosting an all you can eat feast. From 5 - 11 PM, guests will be encouraged to eat as much classic brisket, pork spare ribs, chicken, and sides as they possibly can for just $35. A full open bar will be offered from 5 PM - 2 AM for an additional $60 for three hours and $85 until close. [EaterWire]
