1) Williamsburg: Roving photographer Will Femia gets a shot inside the old Rose Live Music space, once home to the music venue upstairs and the restaurant Vutera downstairs. Word on the street is people behind No-Name Bar and Moto/Five Leaves have taken the space and are planning on keeping the live music elements. [PLYWOOD]

2) Flatiron: Alison 18, the resurrection of Tribeca's Alison on Dominick Street, was originally meant to open this fall on 18th Street, but it looks like there's a ways to go. [PLYWOOD]
3) Park Slope: Top Chef alum Dale Talde, is set to open a new restaurant serving Asian-American fare and signage went up last week. Talde was meant to open this fall, but its opening now seems imminent. Zagat reports they are close to opening, just unsure if it will be 2011 or 2012. [PLYWOOD]

4) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie reports of plywood coming down on the facade of 122-124 Ludlow Street. Well-known restauranteurs behind a few Seattle eateries are bringing their success to the Big Apple. The group is opening a coffee spot and a pizza place next door to each other, respectively Caffe Vita and Via Tribunali. The restaurants are expected to open in January 2012. [PLYWOOD]

5) East Village: From EV Grieve, plywood has gone up at 2nd Avenue and 10th Street at the old Cafe Centosette space where Chef Michael White is planning on opening his first pizza place. Nicoletta, after his daughters middle name, will be serving 6-8 whole pies in the 60 person space. [PLYWOOD]

6) East Village: EV Grieve also notices a new Japanese restaurant called Kotobuki is opening soon on 3rd Avenue and 10th Street. [PLYWOOD]
