1) East Village: Just weeks after Quantum Leap closed down due to rent hikes, EV Grieve reports that a new tenant, Sao Mai, a Vietnamese restaurant, has already moved in and put up signage. Grieve also grabs some new photos of Japadog, opening in sometime this month, and the new Bean location under construction on 2nd Avenue and 3rd Street. If all goes well, they should be opening later this month. [PLYWOOD]

2) Tribeca: A few months ago signage went up at Super Linda, the new South American restaurant in Tribeca. Now, Tribeca Citizen reveals that the plywood has been taken down to the joy of Tribeca residents. [POST-PLYWOOD]

3) Park Slope: Brownstoner has pictures of the massive beer garden on 7th Avenue between 19th & 20th St. in Park Slope that is still under construction. The beer garden, called Greenwood Park, which also happens to be next to Green-Wood Cemetery, takes up the entire block and is going to have dozens of beers on tap. [PLYWOOD]

1) Lower East Side: Construction on One Mile House at 10 Delancey St. is nearly completed reports Bowery Boogie. With the exterior finished and the last plywood finally taken down, the opening can’t be too far off. On their website, the shared plate menu has also been posted. [POST-PLYWOOD]

5) East Village: Looks like Saint Mark’s Place will be getting yet another Asian restaurant, this time in the form of a Vietnamese sandwich shop. EV Grieve has a picture of the signage and plywood that have just gone up. [PLYWOOD]

6) Boerum Hill: From the tipline: "It looks like there is going to be a new restaurant on Atlantic Avenue between 3rd and 4th Avenues called Maimonide of Brooklyn. There has been activity for months. First a building permit, then a notice for an application for a liquor license, and then cartoons covering the windows. As of Saturday night, the cartoons are down, and it seems that there will be a sizable restaurant (at least as Atlantic Avenue storefronts go) with some really interesting decor. It's not clear what kind of cuisine the restaurant it will offer. Either way, it will be nice to see a new restaurant in this part of Boerum Hill. [POST-PLYWOOD]

7) Williamsburg: Here’s Williamsburg reports that a new Hawaiian themed restaurant is in the works at 84 Havemeyer right around the corner from Fette Sau and The Commodore. [PLYWOOD]

8) Upper East Side: A Vietnamese restaurant is opening at 1700 Second Avenue at East 88th street. The curiously named Veatery will be having their grand opening on December 19. [POST-PLYWOOD]
