Doughnut Plant Expands; Eataly Gets Serious About DC

MIDTOWN— According to a reader, dark dining destination Dans Le Noir will be open at least by December 29. They received an email today confirming their reservation. [EaterWire]

WASHINGTON DC— Joe Bastianich and his Eataly partners are getting serious about expanding to Washington DC. They've apparently narrowed their search down to three or four potential locations. Eater DC takes a guess as to where they have in mind. [Eater DC]

SOHO—From December 19 - 23, Boqueria chef Marc Vidal will offer a three-course $25 holiday lunch at both of the restaurant's locations. Menu options include hearty stews and soups, squash and kale salad, and stewed chicken with black sausage, pork and beef meatballs. [EaterWire]
