The Meatpacking District building that houses the Soho House, the members only hotel and restaurant, has been sold to Ron Burkle for a reported $81 million dollars. Soho House members shouldn't fear losing their clubhouse though, because Burkle also recently purchased a 50% stake in the Soho House company from founder Nick Jones and his partner and British restaurant heavyweight Richard Caring, which will supposedly allow Soho House to continue its global expansion. Members shouldn't expect any changes to the MePa hotel or property in the near future. [NYP]
