Polls Are Open: Which Restaurant is So Hot Right Now?

New, 15 comments

We are going to hazard a guess that much of the Eater readership will not be heading out to the polls today to cast their votes this Election Day. So we're happy to provide an opportunity for some voting of a different nature from the comfort of home or the office: Eater Awards voting.

On Monday we will celebrate the restaurateurs, chefs, restaurants, and bartenders that keep this industry so alive, that make New York stand out as a culinary destination. But we need your help. So for five main categories, we are putting forth our nominees and requesting that Eater readers vote to narrow the field down to three. Editors will choose the winner from the top three.

Yesterday readers voted for Restaurant of the Year, narrowing the field down to just The Dutch, Red Rooster, and Fedora. Today a slew a new hot spots will go head to head to compete for the title of So Hot Right Now. This poll will be open for 24 hours; voting irregularities will be strictly policed.
