On Monday, December 5, chef Alex Stratta, once owner and chef at major Vegas eateries Alex and Stratta (always creative those Vegas restaurateurs), will open Bigoli, a new Italian restaurant in the former home of Gonzo on West 13th Street. He will serve items like 24-hour duck confit, red-wine–braised oxtail, lobster raviolo, and whole roasted black bass with blood orange salad (see the full menu here) in the 84-seat space above, which one can safely say looks nothing like a glitzy high end casino restaurant, save perhaps those neon lights behind the bar.
