Inside Kutsher's, El Chod's Tribeca Ode to the Borscht Belt

Yesterday, we posted the menus from Kutsher's, the two day-old modern Jewish restaurant from restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow and the Zach Kutsher, a scion of the family that used to own and run the well-known Catskills resort of the same name. Today, it's time for a look inside. It's less Borscht Belt and more striking modernism, with plenty of blonde wood, theatrical lights, muted gray leather cushions, and bright blue booths. Again, click over here for the menus and send early word on that shmaltz-rubbed steak and deconstructed borscht salad this way. Kutsher's is now open for dinner and will eventually launch lunch and brunch.
