Liquiteria Fears Starbucks; Fatty 'Cue's Thankgiving Eve

EAST VILLAGE— The owner of 15 year-old East Village juice bar Liquiteria is worried Starbucks is going to push the small time juicers out of business now that they've entered the market in a big way. [The Daily]

WEST VILLAGEFatty 'Cue in the West Village will serve a special late night menu this Wednesday in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday. From midnight until 2 AM they'll be serving buttermilk fried half rabbit, dry aged cote de boeuf, a half pound of deep fried bacon, chilies and cheese, and more. [EaterWire]

WEST VILLAGE— On November 29, Jonathan Waxman and Philadelphia chef Marc Vetri will host a dinner at Barbuto in honor of their new cookbooks Rustic Italian Food and Italian My Way. They will switch off serving courses and the dinner will run $65 per person. [EaterWire]
