For Chinese Food Week, seven fantastic non-Chinese New York restaurants, including today's featured spot The Dutch, are putting out Chinese-influenced specials, served at either lunch or dinner. The Dutch chef and owner Andrew Carmellini was particularly excited about the assignment because his chef de cuisine Jason Hua is Chinese American. See above as Hua makes their special this week, Lamb char siu with ginger fried rice and pea leaves. Have it at The Dutch at lunch for $18 and don't forget to visit other participating restaurants Dirt Candy, Maialino, Gramercy Tavern, Osteria Morini, Jeffrey's Grocery and Joseph Leonard.
