Gunfire at Juliet Nightclub Leaves One Dead, Many Injured

New, 22 comments

Five people were shot when gunfire erupted inside Juliet Supper Club last night, leaving a 43 year-old man dead after he was shot three times and a second man in stable condition at the hospital. According to reports, the gunfire broke out at around 2:30 in the morning during the club's weekly Just Chill Monday's party and the NYPD quickly arrived on the scene. This is the second violent crime to occur at Juliet in the past three months, and a club spokesman told DNA Info that Juliet "had since implemented mandatory bag checks and coat check, and that all customers were inspected by security guards as they entered", but apparently they missed the gun. It seems likely that the NYPD will request that the SLA revoke the club's liquor license, which is common practice when a nightclub is the site of multiple violent crimes.
