Some exciting news for barbecue buffs: Aaron Franklin of the wildly popular Franklin Barbecue in Austin will be serving his famous brisket at Hill Country this Sunday night from 6- 9 PM. Franklin will be manning the meat counter, and slicing the brisket to order (the regular menu will also be available). His specialty meat is dry rubbed with salt and pepper, then smoked for at least 15 hours, and finished with a Texas-style sauce. Aaron is staying in town until Monday, when he'll serve some of his famous barbecue at the second annual Eater Awards.
