Andrew Tarlow Opening Restaurant in Williamsburg Hotel

New, 1 comment

For months, there were rumors that Andrew Tarlow — of Marlow & Sons, Diner, and Roman's — was planning a restaurant in a new Brooklyn hotel. Now, Brownstoner confirms that Tarlow is in fact overseeing the restaurant in the long-delayed hotel project at the corner of Wythe and North 11th Street in Williamsburg.

Details on the new restaurant are scarce at this point, but we know that it will be on the ground floor of the space, and that Tarlow will also be working with the hotel's rooftop bar and restaurant. Odds are the new project will serve the same type of locally-sourced, rustic American food that made Diner and Marlow so popular, but you never know. The hotel, which might be called The Wythe, is slated to open May 1, 2012, with the restaurant coming a bit earlier.
