Today Flo Fab gets a sneak peek at Parm, the new Torrisi Italian Specialties spinoff opening at 248 Mulberry Street on November 7. The space features a take out counter in the front, a full bar, and a dining room seating 30 in the back. As discussed previously, the menu features some red sauce standbys, divided into sandwiches and platters, daily specials, and other specialties like roast turkey, mozzarella, salad, baked ziti, and calamari.
The sandwich-centric lunch service over at Torrisi will move over to Parm, and that's just the beginning of the changes. The original restaurant is dropping its old menu format—more or less four courses for $50—for a $60 four course lunch or dinner menu (for walk ins) and a $125 15 - 20 course dinner only tasting menu, for which they will take resys. Note that they'll close from November 6 - 11 to make the structural changes, and stay tuned for more as the developments take shape.
