Julia Moskin reports that David Shim, a Gramercy Tavern and Veritas alum, will open an upscale Korean barbecue spot Kristalbelli this December on West 36th St. Here, Wagyu beef, vegetables, pork belly, and more will be grilled on a single crystal set into the middle of each table. With infrared heat, the crystals will get hotter than gas or charcoal grills. [DJ]
