Significant progress is being made at Parm, the new lunch spot and full fledged restaurant from the folks behind Torrisi Italian Specialties, opening sometime this fall. The original September opening has come and gone, but a peek pic from a reader reveals they've already gone so far as to put up at least a portion of the menu up over the lunch counter. What's on offer: a whole slew of red sauce favorites, including Baked clams, Sunday Salad, Mozz Sticks, Baked Ziti, Zeppole, Sausage Peppers and Onions, Pizza Knots, Chicken Parm, Meatballs, and something called "Eggplant Guy." So, oh yes God, let this place open soon.
Owners Rich Torrisi and Mario Carbone have said that when Parm does indeed open, they'll add a longer tasting menu option to the original Torrisi space.
