Dean Street, the new bar and restaurant from restaurateurs John Longo and Rob Gelardi and ex-Spotted Pig chef Nate Smith, opened to the public in Prospect Heights on Friday. And already the Yelpers have filed half a dozen reviews on the place, praising the food, the neighborhood vibe. So, now, a look around the space, which includes a simple dining room, bar, and bar room and small open kitchen. As for the menu, look forward to bar snacks, burgers, pate, homemade fish cakes, and entrees like half chicken, whole roasted fish, and pasta. Don't miss the sweets from Smith's wife (and Four & Twenty Blackbird alum) Sophie.
