Three Monkeys Hit By Massive Lower East Side Fire

EV Grieve, Bowery Boogie, and DNA Info report that Lower East Side falafel joint and neighborhood noisemaker Three Monkeys suffered a major fire last night. There were no injuries, and the FDNY were able to contain the blaze in under a half hour, but the damage looks extensive. This is the second downtown restaurant knocked out by a fire this month.
