The folks over at stats-centric Times blog 538 crunch the numbers from the Dept. of Health and realize NYC restaurants aren't doing as well as it seems. Sure over 50 percent have earned 'A' grades, but the majority of them are right on the cusp of the cutoff. If the arbitrary line was moved back just a few points, most restaurants in the city would have a 'B' hanging in the window. [538]
