Mayor Bloomberg announced in his state of the city speech today that he's going to slightly alter the way the restaurant letter grade system works. From now on, if a restaurant gets an A in an initial or follow up inspection (under 12 violation points), they will pay no fines. Before, they had to pay the piper for each violation. [DJ]
