Park Slope's La Taqueria, Little Bird, Naidre's and More Donski

1) Park Slope: 20 year-old Park Slope staple La Taqueria shuttered its sitdown area back in October but kept its takeout window open. Now a tipster reports the whole operation is donski: "Just walked by La Taqueria on 7th Avenue in Park Slope. Was actually going to stop in an get some "Tacos D.F." to warm up but the place had a HUGE "Auction" sign on the front of the store. Folks were inside and clearly some kind of "check this stuff out before auction" action happening inside. Signs in the window basically thanks the customers for 20+ years of business, but they were closing and their last night was January 16th. They redirected folks to Rachel's on 5th Avenue (the other shop they own)." The owners explain what happened, "It’s the economy, it’s rent, it’s tough times." [ShutterWire]

2) East Village: EV Grieve reports that Little Bird, a vegan cafe on Avenue B has closed after just six months in business. [EVG]

3) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie notices that Golden Carriage Bakery has closed its 162 East Broadway location. [BB]

4) Carroll Gardens: Grub Street learns that the Carroll Gardens' location of cafe Naidre's has closed while the owner focuses on tuning up the Park Slope location. In its place will open Maybelle Café. [GS]

5) East Village: In deli closings, EV Grieve reports that the storefront that took over the old Dunkin' Donuts space on 2nd Ave. near 10th Street is closed, as is the deli on C near 8th Street. [EVG]

6) Hell's Kitchen: Life with Food and Drink notices that Ciro on 8th Ave. and 49th St. has been closed for "vacation" for quite awhile and is suspicious of the brown paper in the windows. Looks like it may be closed for good. [LWFAD]
