1) Hell's Kitchen: From The Feed and the NY Times comes word of La Silhouette, a seasonal Franco-American restaurant, helmed by French native chef David Malbequi, formerly of the Standard Hotel, BLT Market and Daniel. The menu includes veal cheek with Meyer lemon spaetzle and black trumpet mushrooms, and slow-baked halibut with a caper vinaigrette, cauliflower puree, sunchokes and grapes. Vivian Wu, who put in time at Eleven Madison Park and Del Posto, is the pastry chef. Status: Opens today; 362 W 53rd St., 212-581-2400.

2) Upper West Side: From the tipline, we get word that Nucci, an Italian restaurant has set up shop in the old Canteen 82 location. Our tipster reports that "it has pretty basic fare. Same owners, same vague Chinese decor." Status: Certified open; 467 Columbus Ave.

3) Greenwich Village: Roma Pizza, a new entry in the crowded Bleecker St. pizza scene, opened this past weekend in the space formerly occupied by the long-shuttered Zito's Bakery. Status: Certified open; 259 Bleecker St., 212-924-1970.

4) Times Square: Thrillist and Grub Street take early looks at the Rum House, now being run by the fine folks from Ward III. With the renovation - banquettes covered with red leather, an upright piano to replace the old one - comes a fancy new cocktail list with prices in the $12-$15 range. Status: Opens tonight; 228 W. 47th St. 212-869-3005.
