1) Williamsburg: As reported last month, work has finally begun at the Mole over by Northside Piers on the Williamsburg waterfront. Check out the latest plywood picture above. [PLYWOOD]
2) Lower East Side: Bowery Boogie reports that a new restaurant called Temple of Ankh is opening at 58 Clinton, in a former commercial printing press space. The restaurant and hookah bar will operate as a cafe during the day, offering free wifi. They'll serve "Middle Eastern fare, including homegrown humus." [PLYWOOD]
3) Williamsburg: Zagat offers pics of a crazy looking new restaurant coming to 145 Bedford Ave. called Trix. When they open in February they'll offer "small bistro plates and cocktails." For now, take a look at the decor, which is apparently a tribute to a onetime tenant at this address, Belinda's go-go club. [PLYWOOD]
4) Chelsea: A tipster sends in a pic of what is going to be a new club/bar/performance space on 23rd Street and 7th Avenue called 161 West. It used to be called Suede, and the scaffolding just came down this week. [PLYWOOD]
5) Greenwich Village: Jeremiah Moss snags a pic of the new signage at O Cafe, the restaurant that is replacing the beloved and missed Joe's Jr. over on 6th Ave. The restaurant, which is purported to be "green," is owned by South American "coffee connoisseur" Fernando Aciar. [PLYWOOD]
6) Cobble Hill: Cobble Hill grabs a photo of new restaurant Moo Burger Barn, coming soon to the Peking 2 space on Court Street and Kane Street. [PLYWOOD]
