2011_01_childs_1.jpgExciting news for nostalgists: a Coney Island building that was originally home to a location of the famed Childs restaurant chain, has been granted landmark status. The space on Surf Ave. currently houses the Coney Island Sideshow. For more on the Childs cafeterias, check out our recent Restaurants of Old New York column, about another location (also landmarked) just a few blocks away. [Curbed NY]
