Gary Croland, a Florida man that was an early investor in Carmine's on 44th Street and a Carmine's and a Virgil's Barbecue in Atlantic City is suing the restaurant group for over $1 million. He has earned over $800,000 on his investments but stopped seeing payment just before chef Michael Ronis died of brain cancer in 2009. [NYP]
