Instead of appealing their "B" grade from the DOH and putting up a “Grade Pending” sign, Veselka in the East Village is rolling with the big B in the window, and apparently customers don’t seem to mind. Naturally, the restaurant hopes to ace future inspections, but as one of the managers told the WSJ “When you walk in, you can look around and see if it is clean enough or not clean enough. Our customers are walking in and seeing that it is clean.” [WSJ]
