Dinosaur, Karloff, Oaxaca Taqueria, Taro Sushi Now Open

1) Cobble Hill: Per the tipline: "I noticed that Karloff on Court Street is open. They serve pastries and ice cream they say comes from a dairy in Kingston. Also hot Russian-style food like dumplings, stuffed cabbage and beef stroganoff, all under $10." Status: Certified Open; 254 Court St.

2) Crown Heights: Brownstoner confirms that an outpost of Oaxaca Taqueria has opened, serving the usual suspects as well as the ever-popular Korean taco. Status: Certified Open; 605 Prospect Place, 718-638-3380.

3) Harlem: The new location of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que opens today, down the street from its former digs and that much closer to the 1 train. Status: Certified Open; 700 West 125th Street, 212-694-1777.

4) Park Slope: Here is Park Slope reports that Taro Sushi has opened on Flatbush and St. Marks Place. It's a larger version of the Taro sushi bar on Fifth and Dean. They "will be serving some hard-to-find delicacies like giant clam, sea eel, and raw octopus, as well as over 30 types of fish." Status: Certified Open; 244 Flatbush Ave., Brooklyn, NY.
