The Food Doc files an early review of Manzo the three day-old steakhouse inside food complex Eataly. There are some definite hits on the beef tasting menu—the gnudi are "perfectly pillowy soft," the lifter steak "cooked perfectly medium rare and well-seasoned"—and also some big misses—"the ragu was quite salty, and as a result, I could not appreciate the presence of the brains in the mezzalune"—but overall the place shows major potential.
