Now Open: Steve Hanson's Newest, Atlantic Grill UWS

Tonight, Stephen Hanson will open a new location of his Atlantic Grill over in the old O'Neals space on 64th Street between Central Park West and Broadway. It may be considered part of the so called Upper West Side renaissance, as Jonathan Benno's Lincoln is opening nearby soon and Boulud has serious expansion plans just down the block. As is the norm for Hanson, it's a monster of a space with 5,800 square feet, two bars, a separate sushi bar, and 290 seats.

Expect the same fare as you'll find at the original Atlantic Grill, a mix of sushi and seafood, alongside with steak, lamb, and classic starters with a twist (shrimp cocktail with avocado and grapefruit, white bean soup with foie gras terrine). The menu is below.
